Detailed Assessment Support
We assist receiving and paying parties through the detailed assessment process, from the notice of commencement and bill of costs through to points of dispute, replies, negotiation, provisional assessment and final hearing.
Receiving Party Work
For receiving parties, we focus on maximising recovery while keeping the bill procedurally compliant and defensible. That includes the treatment of hourly rates, counsel fees, experts, court fees, funding documents, chronology, proportionality and settlement strategy.
Paying Party Work
For paying parties, we identify unreasonable, disproportionate or unrecoverable items and prepare targeted points of dispute. The aim is to reduce the bill without wasting time on weak objections that are unlikely to assist at assessment.
